This family garden was built for a mother and daughter, plus other siblings and loved ones. They wanted something beautiful and functional- easy for a mature stature that doesn’t want to bend too much, but also a space that complemented their custom home.
Some of the design features that we really love are those tall beds, stone details, the small greenhouse, and the wise caps on the top of the raised beds.

Working with Bailey VanTassel to design and build our kitchen garden was an absolute dream. From our very first phone call, she took the time to truly understand our vision—everything from the look and feel of the garden to the types of fruits, vegetables, and herbs we hoped to harvest. She thoughtfully assessed our property to find the most strategic placement for the garden, and then brought it all to life with a stunning vision board and a detailed plant map that carefully considered both our wishlist and ideal companion plants. Throughout the entire process, she was incredibly hands-on, visiting the site regularly, collaborating seamlessly with our contractor, and even helping us to source and plant everything. Her creativity, expertise, and passion are unmatched—she brought a level of care and artistry that far exceeded our expectations. We are absolutely thrilled with the final result and truly cannot recommend Bailey highly enough!
